Hailing from Nara and Osaka, the duo Watafei (http://www.prifuji.com/watafei) blends the mysterious tones of the theramin with tasteful guitarism, vocals and electronic ambience to produce a truly unique sound.  Watafei's all Japan tour to kickoff their debut album will bring them to Cafe Kaku in Kutchan on October 16th, 2009, from 7:00 p.m.  There will be no entrance fee, but tips are gladly welcome, and the purchase of one or more menu items is required.
